Common Ground

The two group exhibitions, Lieux Communs and Common Grounds are the outcome of a collective art project, Identités Multiples, uniting five artists: Caroline Cloutier, Lalie Douglas, Emmanuelle Jacques, Geneviève Turcotte, and Claude Arseneault. The project stemmed from a desire to explore the notion of the multiple in printmaking as well as exploit the reproducibility of the printed element as a creative process. From this premise, distinct, yet complementary universes were created from the imagination and visual language of each artist. The overall views of the exhibition, by photographer, Guy L'Heureux, represent the works in the exhibition at La Maison de La Culture du Plateau Mont Royal.
